The Gamlingay Eco-Hub, so named for the use of its
new and inspiring environmental and ecological technologies and design
is a project led by Architect, Dan Jones from CIVIC Architects.
The
project is both exciting and inspiring and hopes to breathe back new
life into the growing village of Gamlingay by regenerating an area once
(and currently still) thought of as delapidated and underused.
The
new scheme boasts 4 large multi-functional spaces which can be used for
a whole host of diverse functions; from Ballet, dance, pillates and
badminton to business conferences, quiet reading, internet research and
toddler pre-school uses.
The project owes
itself to a much needed array of facilities which have surpassed the
currently condemned and exhausted building which currently resides off
Stocks Lane, Gamlingay. From http://gjlonline.co.uk/eco_eco-hub.html
