The UK has a sorry lack of renewable energy. Yet recent subsidies mean renewables are both profitable and positive for the planet.

BRIGHTON ENERGY CO-OPERATIVE aims to become part of that. We are a new collective project to generate renewable energy in Brighton and Hove . Co-op membership is open to anyone - come to our meeting (right) to discover how to get involved in our pioneering £350,000 Brighton solar installation.

PUBLIC MEETING:

17 June, 7.30pm, Free
Pheonix Community Centre, 2 Phoenix Place, Brighton, BN2 9ND

Learn about: how solar works, how communities can earn money through government Feed in Tariffs and how we're going to set up Brighton's largest renewable system.

Speakers
Howard Johns (Southern Solar),
John Stevens, (Solar Century)
Will Cottrell (Brighton Energy Co-op)
